# Release notes

> Changes to the Osvi AI chat SDK

## SDK 0.1.3

Works with the same platform release as 0.1.2. Embeds on the `@0.1` CDN alias pick it up automatically; exact-version pins and SRI hashes must be updated to `0.1.3`.

* **Per-conversation message limit.** Agents can cap messages per conversation (off by default). When a conversation reaches it, the widget shows `sessionLimit` with a **New chat** button. New error code `session_limit_reached`. On 0.1.2 the message shows as not sent with a Retry that fails again, so upgrade before turning the limit on.
* **The daily cap counts conversations.** It now caps conversations per day instead of messages, and a conversation already under way keeps working after the cap is reached. No SDK change is needed for this.

## SDK 0.1.2

**Action required.** The public chat endpoints moved with this release. SDK 0.1.0 and 0.1.1 stop working once it is deployed. Embeds that use the `@0.1` CDN alias pick up 0.1.2 automatically when it is published; exact-version pins (`@0.1.0`, `@0.1.1`) and their SRI hashes must be updated to `0.1.2`, and npm users must upgrade `@osvi-ai/chat`.

* **Anonymous usage is off until you switch it on.** All public chats, including agents that were reachable before, are off after the release. Turn on **Anonymous usage** in each agent's **Channels → Web widget**.
* **Limits.** Anonymous chats are limited per session, per visitor IP and per day. Logged-in chats are unlimited. See [Security and limits](/website-chat/security).
* **Welcome message.** Configure text, buttons or a carousel in the dashboard; it shows before any session starts. See [Dashboard settings](/website-chat/dashboard-settings#welcome-message).
* **Sessions start on the first message.** Opening the panel no longer creates a session, so session counts drop compared with earlier releases.
* **New error handling.** `public_chat_disabled` and `daily_limit_reached` are new error codes, with matching interface strings.
* **Server mode** shows the agent name in the header.
