Conductor is an AI agent builder. Instead of filling in every tab on the agent page yourself, you describe what the agent should do and Conductor drafts it for you — name, system prompt, model, voice, tools, behaviour, memory, and post-call analysis — then keeps adjusting it as you chat. It works for voice and chat agents, single prompt or multi prompt, and it can also refine an agent you already have.
Conductor is enabled per workspace. If you don’t see Build with Conductor on the Agents page, contact support@osvi.ai to turn it on.

Two ways in

  • Agents → Build with Conductor (next to New agent) starts a new agent from a plain-language description.
  • Refine with Conductor on an existing agent’s page opens that agent for editing through the same conversation.

How a build works

  1. Describe the agent — a short form with a description, the channel, and optional files or a reference agent.
  2. Work with Conductor — answer its questions and ask for changes while a live Preview of the draft fills in.
  3. Review and create — approve changes that need your sign-off, then create the agent once it has everything it needs.

What Conductor can set up

For either channel, Conductor sets the name, system prompt and multi-prompt flow, the LLM, memory, knowledge base attachments, custom tools, and behaviour settings. For voice agents it goes further: speech-to-text and text-to-speech, every spoken message (first message, silence, filler, transfer, end-call), the call tools (end call, voicemail detection, language switching, transfer, warm transfer), call limits and concurrency, and post-call analysis with its webhooks and call tags. For chat agents it sets up human help and the operator commands — whisper, tell, and takeover — instead. Conductor can’t set up phone numbers, telephony, campaigns, or Google Sheets delivery, and it doesn’t activate agents. Do those on the agent page after the agent is created.

Resuming and archiving builds

Unfinished builds are kept. The build form shows You have N builds in progress — click it to open Continue a build, where you can pick up any draft with its conversation intact, or archive builds you don’t need. Archived builds can’t be restored. Builds are private to the person who started them; teammates don’t see each other’s drafts.

Troubleshooting

Conductor is still busy — it’s working on your last message, waiting for an answer to its questions, applying approvals, uploading attachments, or waiting on a sync conflict. Finish or wait for that step and the button becomes available.
The build started without a channel. Tell Conductor whether the agent is for chat or voice, then click Create agent again.
Voice agents need an LLM, speech-to-text, and text-to-speech. Ask Conductor to choose the missing ones, or name the provider you want.
A provider or model in the draft has been retired since Conductor picked it. Ask Conductor to switch to a different one.
Create the agent without it, then set up Google Sheets delivery in the agent’s Call Analysis tab.
Click Refresh. Your draft and conversation are kept.
